Some benefits of adding more basil into your diet

Great recipe for a basil dressing to add on a slice of bread, add to your pasta dish or your favourite salad as a dressing.

1 hand full of basil - washed and dried

1 pack of 200gms pine nuts - toast in the oven for 15-20mins keep turning every 5 mins, take out when lightly golden brown

The juice of 2 lemons

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt & pepper

mix all ingredients in a blender to a smooth paste.

add more olive oil or lemon to suit your taste and consistency
